Australia's koala population has shrunk by 30% in the last three years

The Australian Koala Foundation says the country's koala population has shrunk by 30% in the past three years due to drought, fire and logging. According to the foundation, the population of this species has increased from 80,000 koalas in 2018 to less than 58,000 koalas this year.
